Change Architecture & Roadmap

Turn a decided change into a real plan.

A focused design engagement that turns an intended organizational change into a practical, sequenced plan for making it real. We design how the change should be structured, owned, governed, and adopted, then build the roadmap to deliver it.

3 to 8 weeks
$ fixed fee, quoted up front. no hourly surprises.
▮ WHAT YOU WALK AWAY WITH
A clear, written definition of what is actually changing and what success looks like
A workstream model with named owners, decision rights, and escalation paths
A governance model and meeting cadence so decisions get made and the work stays coordinated
A stakeholder impact map and an adoption plan covering who must change behavior, what they do differently, and how managers reinforce it
A dependency map across process, systems, data, and operating constraints, plus a risk and mitigation register
A sequenced roadmap with phases, milestones, and the decisions that must happen before execution begins
An executive decision memo that lets the sponsor commit budget, people, authority, or vendor direction with more confidence
▮ HOW IT RUNS
01We frame the change in a scoping session: what is changing, why it matters, who owns it, who is affected, and what the roadmap has to enable.
02We review what is already known, including prior diagnostic findings, gaps, risks, dependencies, and constraints, and turn those into design requirements.
03We design the structure of the change: workstreams, owners, decision rights, governance, and the adoption path for the people who have to work differently.
04We build the roadmap by sequencing the work into phases, milestones, decision points, and risk controls.
05We pressure-test the roadmap with sponsors and key stakeholders to surface gaps, disagreement, and feasibility issues.
06We deliver the roadmap, governance model, adoption plan, risks, and next steps in a decision-ready format.
▮ IS THIS THE RIGHT MOVE?
] THIS IS FOR YOU IF
A leader with an important change they understand well enough to design, but which is not yet structured into a workable roadmap, governance model, adoption path, and execution plan.
] NOT THE RIGHT MOVE IF
It's not the right move if there is no executive sponsor with authority to act, the change is too vague to design responsibly, or you mainly want a roadmap to validate a plan you have already decided on or to avoid hard decisions you already know you need to make.
] FIRST STEP
Start with a focused scoping conversation to understand the intended change, the outcome you want, any prior diagnostic findings, the known risks and stakeholders, the constraints, and the decision the roadmap needs to support.
Not sure this is the right one? Start with the Work Systems Assessment and we'll name the next best move.
